our vision

Dayton Community Vision

JAM Foodie Tours strives to create a unique, communal culinary experience that feeds your mind and belly. Experience our local community while sharing food, exploring culture, and discovering history. Our goal is to create a business that supports and grows the fantastic food and culinary operations in Dayton, as well as enhance the economic development of the streets where we will walk and eat.

Impetus of JAM

My life has had multiple transitions over the last few years. In this vein, I have been taking deliberate steps toward what nourishes me and what I love in life. I love to walk, I love to eat, and I love to invest in and build community. JAM is a combination of consequence. I have three lovely and amazing children, for whom the business is named and nurtured by and for: Jett Mercy, Aamah Grace and Emmanuel Justice Williams. When asked, “What do you do?” my heartfelt answer is - I strive to make sure my kids know they are fiercely loved, not just by me but by themselves, and I endeavor to get to yoga everyday. Everything else is icing on the cake, as they say (in particular, the Triple Chocolate Cake at Roost)!
